Windsor ComiCon Secures Presenting Sponsor through Cartoon Kingdom
Cartoon Kingdom Kicks-Off Partnership on Free Comic Book Day.
Windsor, ON. Windsor ComiCon is pleased to announce that its 2017 show program will be presented by Cartoon Kingdom. As the ‘Multiverse, Platinum, Title and Presenting Sponsor’ for Windsor ComiCom, Cartoon Kingdom will receive a myriad of branding, benefits and rights including an oversized centralized activation space on the now renamed Cartoon Kingdom Exhibitor Floor inside The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor; contest programming during events, hospitality and enhanced VIP access to celebrities, other guests and programs plus the ability to renew its package for 2018. Furthermore, as an invested key partner who wants to see Windsor ComiCon succeed with the community and inspire us all, Cartoon Kingdom has graciously waived exclusivity to ensure all other businesses and potential competing sponsors have the abilities to participate and play. “We are excited to be involved in a show of this magnitude!” says Cartoon Kingdom Co-Owner’s Nat and Sarah St. Pierre.
To mark this unique occasion (and partnership going forward), Cartoon Kingdom will be kicking off a fan filled celebration this weekend during Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at it’s store located at 2001 Provincial Rd. Day Passes to Windsor ComiCon, toys and collectibles underlined by a sea of comic books will be given away. For the former, random giveaways will follow for those who enter the shop; while the store will be open to all from 9:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. In addition, local cosplayers ranging from super heroes through to enchanted princesses will be on-site for fans to take photos and engage with. “As the original Free Comic Book Day Windsor store partner since May 4, 2002, we’ve carried this program in our shop to the present,” says Cartoon Kingdom Co-Owner Arlen Mifflin. “Through Free Comic Book Day, our goal has been and always will be to promote literacy amongst children in the community.”
