WOLVERINE TO CLAW HIS WAY THROUGH THE COLOSSEUM
Voice of Wolverine, Cal Dodd joins Windsor ComiCon’s guest line-up for 2018.
Windsor, ON. Windsor ComiCon is pleased to announce its next guest for the 2018 season through Canadian Voice Artist, Cal Dodd.
Recognized as one of the most beloved characters belonging to a generation of children onto whom grew up in the 1990s, Cal Dodd served as the voice actor of Wolverine (James “Logan” Howlett) through X-Men: The Animated Series.
To bolster his exceptional resume, Dodd also provided the voice of Wolverine in the worldwide hit Marvel vs. Capcom video game series and other related X-Men games throughout the 90s including but not limited to X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes. Through a combination of theses games, Dodd also characterized the voice portrayals for Captain America (Steve Rogers) and Iceman (Robert “Bobby” Drake).
Finally, his voice was portrayed once again as Wolverine in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, as Slappy in R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps as well as the hero/villain Random Virus in the BBC Series Ace Lighting.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Cal Dodd to our show,” says Windsor ComiCon President, Colin Douglas. “Wolverine fans will certainly dig their claws in this unique opportunity to meet him.”
