Veritable Transformers Artist: More Than Meets the Eye!
Windsor ComiCon announces Alex Milne to its Comic Guest Line-Up for 2018.
Windsor, ON. Windsor ComiCon is pleased to announce its next comic guest for the 2018 season through Canadian artist, Alex Milne.
Known for his exceptional high levels of detail, complex environments and backgrounds through to acute delineated mechanical greeblies on the Transformers characters themselves, Milne debuted on the comic scene through Dreamwave Productions; penciling their Transformers: Energon Series and then Transformers Armada: More Than Meets the Eye. He was later hired by UDON to work on Devil’s Due Publishing’s 3rd G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers comic. Upon its completion, IDW Publishing brought Milne on board to pencil and ink the official adaption of the 2007 Transformers movie. IDW also positioned Milne on other major projects including Transformers: Megatron Origin and The Transformers: Spotlight issue centered on the character Arcee and was the principal artist on the Transformers Movie sequel comic: Transformers, The Reign of Starscream. He also worked on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Revenge of the Fall Movie Prequel: Alliance, covers for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Defiance and the 3rd issue of the comic adaptation for the Revenge of the Fallen movie adaptation.
Finally, Milne served as the primary artist alongside writer James Roberts for IDW Publishing’s The Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye comic, which ran for 57 issues from 2012 through 2016. He just completed the ROM vs. Transformers mini series and is currently working on the upcoming Unicron series.
