MICHAEL MYERS TO SLASH HIS WAY THROUGH THE COLOSSEUM
Windsor ComiCon welcomes Tyler Mane to its guest line-up for 2018.
Windsor, ON. Windsor ComiCon is pleased to announce its next major guest for the 2018 season through Canadian actor and former professional wrestler, Tyler Mane.
Loved by fans worldwide, Mane played the iconic starring role as the infamous slasher Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II “H2” who became only the second actor to don the mask more than once, and the only one to play the role in consecutive films.
To add to his versatility and physical prowess, Mane played Sabretooth in the X-Men movie opposite Hugh Jackman (as Wolverine) while serving as the voice of this villain in X-Men: The Official Game.
Other powerful appearances include his portrayals as Ajax in Troy, Antaeus in Hercules and Rufus in The Devil’s Rejects. He also appeared in How to Make a Monster, Joe Dirt and The Scorpion King.
In 2010, Mane and his wife Renae Geerlings launched their own production company, Mane Entertainment. Their first feature Compound Fracture, was released in 2013 followed by Penance Lane, which is currently in post production.
In the wrestling world prior to his acting career, Mane travelled through a variety of circuits in many countries before signing with the United Wrestling Federation (UWF) in 1993, where under the moniker Big Sky became a 1-time UWF MGM Grand Champion.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Tyler Mane to our show,” says Windsor ComiCon President, Colin Douglas. “His presence will provide many chills and thrills for fans of the Halloween and X-Men series.”
Tyler Mane is presented by Cartoon Kingdom, the presenting sponsor of Windsor ComiCon.
